Writing at Matteawan
Last week I had a short residency at Matteawan Gallery in Beacon. I continued to transcribe my participants' interviews onto large sheets of vellum and installed each sheet on the gallery wall as I finished them. I completed two interviews and a third one is almost done.
Lily Zand came by one evening and she took this photo from the street.

Meetings in Germany
Katharina in her favorite restaurant in Berlin/Schöneberg
Miriam in her apartment in Berlin - she misses her life in Israel.
Claudie commutes between Berlin and Tel Aviv.
Noa two days before she emigrated from Düsseldorf to Jerusalem.
Jule
Jule helped me a lot when I first started working on "a priori". Her mother had to take on a fake identity to survive during the war. It makes Jule's research about her heritage very difficult. Her mother's sister, who lived in hiding in Leipzig during the war, has been a source of information.
